This programme is for those of you who want to combine studies in business language with studies in business economics. Faced with growing political, economic, cultural, and social globalization, businesses will make increasing demands on their employees, who will have to work across national and linguistic borders.

This programme will qualify you for analysing, evaluating, and solving the tasks involved in the international activities of business enterprises, and it will qualify you for performing the communication and mediation tasks arising in connection with such activities. You will obtain the competences you need via foreign language training, via knowledge of social conditions, and via knowledge of the sociological and economic factors influencing decision-making processes in various culture.

The programme has been established in cooperation with the
University of Flensburg and is studied in Sonderborg and Flensburg. Students gain a double degree on graduation: a Danish as well as a German degree

Programme content


This is the programme for you if you want to combine studies in business language [currently limited to German or Danish] with studies in business economics. Entry Requirements


General Certificate of Education with examination in 8 subjects where at least 3 are A-levels, alternatively 2 A-levels + 2 AS-levels. Subjects to include A/S Maths AND Social Studies OR History OR Economics


Leaving Certificate, showing at least 6 subjects of which at least 2 Higher Level subjects (at least Grade H5. Subjects to include Maths [Higher] AND Social Studies subject OR History OR Economics [or equivalent].
