​​​​​The Electrical and Electronic Engineering - major Sensor Technology programme ​specialises in sensor technology. The study programme revolves around the utilisation of existing sensors. Sensors will help break skating and swimming records, take over the tasks of nursing staff and make driving safer. Sooner than we think. Sensor technology is everywhere. And this is only the beginning! 

During the programme you can participate in applied research to apply sensors to develop andimprove existing appliances, products and services, for instance in the fields of healthcare, sport & leisure and robotics

3 A-levels + 3 GCSEs.Subjects to include Maths and Physics.

Biology or Chemistry not required but preferrred.

Five subjects at Leaving Certificate (minimum 200 points) OR relevant QQI/FETAC Level 5 Subjects to include Maths and Physics
