Karlshochschule International University is located in the heart of Karlsruhe. It is a small private, state-accredited institiution that has been pursuing a practical, market-oriented and - above all - international teaching philosophy since 2005 with a strong influence from private business. Accordingly, its Bachelor's Programmes have a clear focus on future growth industries. The institution currently has about 800 students.

he University has one apartment complex in the city, but the rooms are very limited. It does however have an agreement with the other housing complexes in the city, meaning that all students are welcome to apply to any of those apartments/dorms .
