Programme profile
The aim of this programme is to train professionals who have an excellent grounding in the theoretical foundations and basic methods of psychology, have an insight into the applied branches of psychology, and possess skills and techniques that can be used in order to measure, explore, and develop individuals, groups or organisations through behaviour measurement or other experiments. Students will obtain an integrated knowledge of education, communication, socialisation, learning, and human development.
In particular, the programme aims a training students for roles as behaviour analysts. A behaviour-analyst is trained and prepared to conduct and analyse a wide range of experiments regarding human behaviour and human interventions. Behaviour-analysts have roles in a wide range of organisations, where the following processes take place: education, qualification, development, leadership, recruitment, selection, re-education, correction, or health activities.
The English Language programmes in Psychology has been offered since 1991. During this period, 50-60 students per year have followed the programme, from a wide range of countries.
